Ranking the world's top hardware companies

HP is the world's largest hardware company, with a solid US$10 billion dollar lead over Samsung, it's nearest competitor. Both are giants among giants: all of the companies in in the Hardware Top 100 have well over one billion dollar in annual revenues.
A wide range of products has brought the listed companies their respective successes: mobile phones (Nokia), LCD panels and Hard drives (Samsung), PCs and laptops (Dell), printers (Canon) and network equipment (Cisco).
